Managing TMS zl Modules
Configuring High Availability Clusters
Synchronizing the HA Cluster or HA Configuration
The Synchronize HA Cluster and Synchronize HA Configuration functions are
used to copy the complete configuration from the Master to the Participant
and execute a Write Memory on the Participant. When this operation com-
pletes successfully, the Participant reboots automatically.
Both Synchronize HA Cluster and Synchronize HA Configuration perform
essentially the same function. Synchronize HA Cluster is available from the
TMS zl folder in the navigation tree. Synchronize HA Configuration is available
from an individual TMS zl Module in the navigation tree, when that module is
operating as a Master in an HA cluster.
Synchronize HA Cluster
1. Navigate to the Synchronize HA Cluster window by one of these methods:
• In the navigation tree, right-click the TMS zl folder, select TMS-High
Availability from the menu, then select Synchronize Cluster from the
sub menu.
• In the navigation tree, left click on the TMS zl folder, click on the TMS
- High Availability tab, then click on the TMS High Availability menu
button in the toolbar, and select Synchronize Cluster.
The Synchronize Cluster option is disabled if the selected module does
not belong to an HA cluster, or if no HA clusters have been configured
in NIM or imported into NIM.
