3. Configure the parameters (proxim_dns) as described in Table 19.
Configure the parameters for the proxim_icmp and proxim_tcp_half_open in the same way you
configure the ICMP and TCP half open health monitoring methods.

Hostname
Domain name to be resolved in DNS health monitoring.
The default hostname is A.ROOT-SERVER.NET.
Host IP
DNS health monitoring is considered successful only when the specified host IP address
is contained in the received DNS result packet (if the host IP address is specified),
enhancing the precision of DNS health monitoring.
Destination IP
Destination IP address for health monitoring.
Typically this parameter is not required for the best performing link function.
Destination Port Destination port number for health monitoring.
Creating a physical link
1. Select High Reliability > Load Balance > Link Load Balance > Physical Link from the navigation
tree.
The physical link page appears, displaying the configuration information for a physical link and
the status and outgoing interface of the physical link when it is available.
