Parameters
10: Sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps.
100: Sets the interface speed to 100 Mbps.
1000: Sets the interface speed to 1000 Mbps.
auto: Enables the interface to negotiate a speed with its peer.
Usage guidelines
For an Ethernet copper port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the speed of the peer
interface.
For a fiber port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the rate of a pluggable transceiver.
Examples
# Configure GigabitEthernet 0/1 to operate at 100 Mbps.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface GigabitEthernet 0/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet0/1] speed 100
