igmp require-router-alert
Use igmp require-router-alert to configure the interface to discard IGMP messages that do not carry the
Router-Alert option.
Use undo igmp require-router-alert to restore the default.
Syntax
igmp require-router-alert
undo igmp require-router-alert
Default
The device does not check the Router-Alert option but passes all the IGMP messages that it receives to the
upper layer protocol for processing.
