Type
DHCPv6 client type:
Stateful client requested for addressThe DHCPv6 client that has
requested an IPv6 address.
Stateful client requested for prefix—The DHCPv6 client that has requested
an IPv6 prefix.
Stateless client—The stateless DHCPv6 client.
State
Current client state:
DECLINE—The DHCPv6 client sends a DECLINE packet to the DHCP server
to inform the server of an IP address conflict.
IDLE—The DHCPv6 client is in IDLE state.
INFO-REQUESTING—The DHCPv6 client is requesting configuration
information.
INIT—The initialization state.
INVALID—The DHCPv6 client is not enabled.
OPEN—The DHCPv6 client successfully obtained configuration parameters
and completed stateless configuration based on the obtained parameters.
REBIND—The DHCPv6 client is requesting for renewing its lease. (When
the T2 timer expires, the client enters the state.)
RELEASE—The DHCPv6 client is releasing the lease.
RENEW—The DHCPv6 client is renewing its lease. (When the T1 timer
expires, the client enters the state.)
REQUEST—The client has sent out a DHCP-REQUEST message requesting
for an IP address and is waiting for the response from DHCP servers.
SOLICIT—The DHCPv6 client is detecting available DHCPv6 servers.
Preferred server Information about the DHCPv6 server selected by the DHCPv6 client.
Reachable via address
Reachable address, which is the link local address of the DHCPv6 server or
relay agent.
DUID DUID of the server.
Address
The requested IPv6 address. This field is displayed when the client is of the
Stateful client requested for address type.
