Use ip forward-broadcast to enable the interface to forward directed broadcasts to a directly-connected
network.
Use undo ip forward-broadcast to disable the interface from forwarding directed broadcasts to a
directly-connected network.

ip forward-broadcast [ acl acl-number ]
undo ip forward-broadcast
Default
An interface is disabled from forwarding directed broadcasts to a directly-connected network.

Parameters
acl acl-number: ACL number in the range of 2000 to 3999. Numbers from 2000 to 2999 are for basic
ACLs, and from 3000 to 3999 are for advanced ACLs. Only directed broadcasts permitted by the ACL
can be forwarded.
Examples
# Enable GigabitEthernet 0/1 to forward the directed broadcasts to a directly-connected network
matching ACL 2001.
