Enable host traffic
statistics
Enable/disable the host traffic statistics function.
Host Aging Time
Specify the aging time of hosts.
If a host accesses a specified network service, the device periodically
collects traffic statistics for the host. If no traffic statistics is updated because
no packets pass through the host within the aging time, the device stops
collecting traffic statistics for the host.
Log Sending Interval Set the interval for sending logs for a host or service type.
Host traffic statistics configuration example
Network requirements
As shown in Figure 116, the hosts are connected to the Internet through Firewall. Firewall sends log
information to the log host.
The network administrator needs to monitor all the traffic destined to TCP port 80 and 8080
sent/received by the hosts.

Configuring Firewall
1. Specify the IP address of the log host:
a. Select Log Report > Syslog from the navigation tree of Firewall.
The Syslog page appears.
b. Enter the IP address 10.1.1.10 for log host 1.
