a. Select Network > Statistics > L2 Statistics from the navigation tree.
b. Click the Service Configuration tab.
c. Click Add.
d. Select test for Service Type, and click Apply.

5. Enable the host traffic statistics function:
a. Click the Basic Configuration tab.
b. Select the Enable host traffic statistics box and click Apply.

Configuration guidelines
When you configure host traffic statistics, follow these guidelines:
• For TCP and UDP packets, traffic statistics is implemented based on the specified destination port
numbers.
• The host traffic statistics function does not support VPNs.
• The host traffic statistics function is implemented on each virtual device. Because you cannot
differentiate the virtual devices that generate the statistics in the log information, do not deploy a
network where traffic from a host passes through different virtual devices.
• The host traffic statistics function does not apply to multicast packets.
• The virtual device can implement traffic statistics for up to 200 hosts simultaneously. When the
maximum number is reached, the device does not implement traffic statistics for any new host until
a host is aged out.
