Getting Started
Using Multiple ONE Integrated Applications
Caution A ONE-app index number is subject to change. ONE-app Indices (the index is
the number '2' in the command services c 2) for multiple applications (for
example, HP ProCurve PCM+ Agent Application versus HP ProCurve Threat
Management Services zl Module versus HP ProCurve MSM765zl Mobility
Controller) in the same switch may change whenever any one of the modules
reboots. Note that the alternative command to access an application CLI:
services <slot-id> name <application-name>
works in all cases. Use the show services command to see the <application-
name> listed under the Name heading.
A detailed description of the ONE-app activation process is on page D-6 in the
Web version of this document at www.hp.com/go/procurve/manuals.
Note Each ONE Integrated Application has its own Installation and Getting Started
Guide that covers the configuration of the application. This document is
available from the ProCurve web site in the same location where the ONE
Integrated application was obtained or from the ONE Alliance Partner's
corresponding web site.
Using Multiple ONE Integrated
Applications
It is possible to download multiple ONE Integrated Applications to the
module. However, only one can be installed and activated at a time. If appli-
cation A is running on a module, and the user wants to run application B, the
user must uninstall application A, uninstall any applicable license for applica-
tion A, and obtain a new registration ID for application A from the ONE
Alliance Partner. This registration ID is used to reactivate application A if the
user ever wants to go back to using application A. Once application A and its
license have been uninstalled, application B may be installed and activated.
See “Installing a ONE Integrated Application” on page 2-9 and “Activating a
ONE Integrated Application” on page 2-9.
For details on uninstalling a License and obtaining a new registration ID, see
page D-13 in the Web version of this document at
www.hp.com/go/procurve/manuals.
