Configuring Authentication
Step 10.
Click Save to save your changes.
Step 11.Once you are finished adding all the RADIUS clients, click Cancel from the Clients page to
return to the 802.1X/WPA page.
Step 12.You will need to add the remote RADIUS servers (Home Servers) participating in 802.1X/WPA
authentication. To add or view the Home Servers, click
Realms from the 802.1X/WPA page,
and then click
Home Servers from the Realms page. The Home Servers page appears
(Figure 5-12).
To edit a Home Server, click the Home Server name or the pencil icon at the end of the row. This
takes you to the Edit Home Server page.
To delete a Home Server, click the trash can icon at the end of the row.

Step 13.To add a remote RADIUS server (Home Server), click New Home Server. The New Home Server
page appears (Figure 5-13). The Edit Home Server page is almost identical to the New Home
Server page, except the settings displayed are for the Home Server you have selected.
Shared Secret The shared secret that allows access to the RADIUS server. This must match
exactly the secret configured on the access point, and is the shared secret for the
RADIUS server in the Access Control Server.
Confirm Shared Secret The shared secret, entered a second time to confirm.
