Configuring Authentication
Step 20.
Click Save.
You can add additional Home Servers by clicking
New Home Server.
The built-in RADIUS server in proxy mode works in a failover capacity. The server in proxy mode
will forward requests to the first Home Server in the list. If that server does not respond, the proxy
server will attempt the next Home Server in the list, and so on until a Home Server responds.
Step 21.If you are using different realm syntax than the default of username@realm, you need to add
the different realm syntax rules. The order in which you add the realm syntax rules is
important because the rules are applied starting from the top of the table and moving down.
From the Realms page, click
Realm Syntax. The Realm Syntax page appears (Figure 5-16).
To edit a Realm Syntax, click the Realm Syntax name or the pencil icon at the end of the row. This
takes you to the Edit Realm Syntax page.
To delete a Realm Syntax, click the trash can icon at the end of the row.

Step 22.To add a realm syntax, click New Syntax. The New Realm Syntax page appears (Figure 5-15).
The Edit Realm Syntax page is almost identical to the New Realm Syntax page, except the
settings displayed are for the realm syntax you have selected.
