Using the Application Menu Interface
Introduction
Start Agent
The Agent resumes operation, after being stopped. By default, the Agent
begins operation when the PCM+ Agent Module is booted to the Product OS.
An Agent would need to be started only as part of a troubleshooting process.
A message informs you when the Agent has successfully started and returned
to operation.
Stop Agent
The Agent ceases operation and disconnects from the PCM+ Server. The Agent
Manager now shows the Agent as disconnected. A message informs you that
the Agent was stopped successfully.
To restart a stopped Agent, choose menu item 3 from the main menu, Start
Agent.

Support
Information
USB Creates a .tar file of
system information that
can be used by Support.
USB drive must be at
least 64 MB.
TFTP Standard IP
notation
TFTP server version
must support the
transfer of .tar files
greater than 32 MB in
size.
5. Show Debug
Information
PCM Agent console
content is displayed,
containing details of
Agent — Server
communication.
