Troubleshooting
Symptom / Solution
• Unlicensed=Unlicensed. There is no license available on the Server
for this Agent (only for PCM Agents).
• SYNCH_FAILED=Synchronized Failed. A fatal error occurred while
synchronizing with the Server (contact your HP support representa-
tive if this continues).
• Startup_failed=Startup Failed. The Agent framework cannot be
started (contact HP support if this persist).
• Running=Connected to Server. The Agent has connected to the
PCM+ 3.1 Server and is operating normally
• Running_but_disconnected=Agent is up and running but is not
currently connected to the PCM Server.
• User_activation_required=User Activation Needed. The
Agent requires user activation in the Agent Manager.
• Stopped=Agent service not running. The Agent service has been
stopped. This Agent is not operational.
• Started=Agent service is started. The Agent service is started.
• Waiting_for_Server_to_connect= Waiting for the Server to
request a connection. This state can be the result of the PCM Server
being shutdown, the Agent not being activated, the Agent or Server
configured incorrectly, a firewall preventing connections, or a physi-
cal connectivity problem.
• Both_sides_connecting_error=Both the PCM+ 3.1 Server and
the Agent are attempting to initiate the connection. Correct the
configuration so that only one side initiates the connection.
