NOTE The PCM+ Agent Application supports the following Web browsers:

Verifying the Switch Software Version
Before you begin the installation process, you should check the host switch
software and ensure that it is running a version that supports the ONE Services
zl Module and HP ProCurve PCM+ Agent Application. The host switch should
be running version K.13.

To
check the host switch software version, complete the following steps:
1. Access the host switch’s command line interface (CLI) through:
• Serial session
• Telnet session
• Secure Shell (SSH) session
To establish a serial connection with the switch, use the serial cable that
was shipped with the switch to connect a workstation to the switch. Then,
run terminal session software such as Tera Term or HyperTerminal on
your workstation, and set the following parameters for the session:
• Baud rate = 9600
• Parity = None
• Data bits = 8
• Stop bits = 1
• Flow control = None
2. If you are prompted for a username and password when you access the
host switch’s CLI, enter a manager username and password.
3. Enter the following command at the CLI to check the switch’s software
version:
hostswitch# show version
The output shows the version of the switch software. The switch should
be running K.13.
