Read Me First for Access Controller xl Module 2005-03

Note: Downloading V3.1.x Software to a 720wl runn ing V4.1.1. x Software

If you need to downgrade a 720w l, you must perform a remote download using the

CLI on the 720wl.

1. Copy the remote download files to an FTP, TFTP, or HTTP server.

2. Obtain the required key from the HP ProCurve Web site (see step 2 above).

3. Establish a console session by directly connecting a serial console to the serial port or by

connecting to the system remotely using SSH.

4. Use the get upgrade command to download the version 3.1.x software.

5. Run the reboot downgrade command to boot from the software just downloaded.

on using the

get upgrade and reboot downgrade commands.
