Managing the HP AllianceONE Extended Services zl Module with the Riverbed® Steelhead® RiOS® Application
Example Deployments
In this deployment, you must make port 2 on the Extended Services zl Module
with Steelhead Application either a tagged or untagged member of each VLAN
in which traffic will be intercepted. For example, if you define zones that
contain ports that are members of VLANs 1, 2, and 3 and the module is installed
in slots C and E, you must make port E2 a member of VLANs 1, 2, and 3.
Like all switch ports, the module port 2 can be an untagged member of one
VLAN and a tagged member of multiple VLANs. In this example, E2 is an
untagged member of VLAN 1 and a tagged member of VLANs 2 and 3.
Example 2
Figure 1-3 shows a more complex example of a routing deployment.

In this network, the following VLANs have been defined:
VLAN 1 = Default VLAN
VLAN 2 = Servers VLAN
