Ensure that You are Ready to Complete
the Setup Wizard
Before you complete the SBM’s Setup Wizard, the company’s Domain or
Enterprise Admins and Lync Server designers must complete several initial
tasks in the data center. It is recommended that they read the HP SBM
Planning and Design Guide. At the very least they must complete the tasks
listed in Appendix A: “Ready the Data Center for an SBM Deployment.”
Do not move on until your data center contacts indicate that the tasks are
complete and give you the following information:
Hostname (computer name) for the SBM
The SBM’s default hostname is its serial number, which you can see when
you check its IP address through the CLI. (See Chapter 2 in the HP
Survivable Branch Communication zl Module powered by Microsoft
Lync
TM
Installation and Getting Started Guide). You can also see the
SBM’s serial number on the back left corner of the module’s physical
hardware.
Default hostname: ______________________________
