Complete the Setup Wizard
Install Server Certificates
3. Only fill out the next two fields if your domain center contact has told you
that you need to use special credentials to request the certificate. If you
leave the fields blank, the SBM requests the certificate using the creden-
tials that you used to log in to the Setup Wizard.
4. The Subject Alternate Name(s) field is automatically populated with the
SBM’s FQDN. If the SBM can be contacted at more than one FQDN, add
these FQDNs to the field, separating each with a comma. Wildcards are
not allowed. But leave the autopopulated FQDN at the beginning of
the list.
Note The FQDN is obtained from the settings when you joined the SBM to the
domain. For example, you set the hostname to HP-SBM and joined the
module to the example.hp.com domain; the FQDN is HP-
SBM.example.hp.com.
Note Both a subject name and a subject alternate name (or names) are required
for proper functioning of the gateway. The subject name itself is set to
CN=<FQDN>; you cannot alter this setting although you can add values
to the subject name by configuring the fields below as described in the
next step.
5. Entering values in the remaining fields is optional.
These fields further identify the SBM in an LDAP hierarchy and are added
to the subject name.
You select the country from a list, but you must type values in other fields.
Valid values include alphanumeric characters, spaces, and all special
characters except double quotation marks (“ ”).
Table 2-1. Certificate Information Fields
6. When you are satisfied with the values, click Request Certificate. The SBM
sends the certificate request to the domain CA, which will return the
signed certificate. The SBM automatically installs it.
