Caution After the SBM calibrates an FXO line, it restarts the Media Gateway, which
interrupts users’ PSTN calls. You should complete the calibration during a
scheduled outage.
To calibrate the lines, complete these steps:
1. Make sure that the FXO interface that you want to calibrate is connected
to the proper equipment provided by your PSTN carrier. Use standard
cables; refer to the installation guide for the telephony card for more
information.
2. Also make sure that the FXO interface has a valid configuration (which
you can establish by clicking PSTN Setup Wizard; you can also create the
configuration manually by clicking PSTN Configuration).
3. In the Dashboard, click Calibrate FXO under Telephony Configuration.

4. Click Next.
