Introduction
Ensure that You are Ready to Complete the Setup Wizard

Caution Whoever generates the .pfx file must mark the key as exportable. Otherwise,
the Media Gateway cannot start and the installation will fail.
Instructions on how you should request a certificate:
Generate a request manually
Request a certificate automatically (in which case you might need
another username and password)
Credentials for the user who requests the certificate only if you
have been told to use special credentials:

Your data center contact only needs to give you this file if the domain does
not use group policy objects (GPOs) to push the CA certificate to domain
computers. You also might be able to download the CA certificate your-
self.

Information about SIP trunking:
The SBM is using SIP trunking only.
The SBM is using SIP trunking with one or more backup PSTN
connections.
The SBM is not using SIP trunking.
If the SBM is using SIP trunking only, then you do not need to obtain any
information about the SBM’s Media Gateway, PSTN settings, or telephony
settings. You can move to the end of this list after Table 1-2 on page 1-7.
Transport protocol for the Media Gateway, either:
TLS (recommended)
TCP
This is the protocol that the gateway uses to listen for communications
from the Lync solution.
