Ready the Data Center for an SBM
Deployment
Overview
The HP Survivable Branch Communication zl Module (SBM) powered by
Microsoft Lync
TM
is designed to integrate with an existing Microsoft Unified
Communications and Collaboration solution.
This appendix explains the tasks that must be performed to ready the data
center for a successful SBM deployment. It will provide enough information
for an experienced Windows administrators to create a checklist of what they
need to do. For some tasks, it will provide the minimum steps required for an
example deployment. However, detailed guidelines are beyond the scope of
this document. You should refer to Microsoft documentation for all such
purposes.
Table A-1 displays the tasks and the typical group for the user who completes
them (your domain might be set up differently).
