Communicate Information to the SBM Administrator

connections.
• The SBM is not using SIP trunking.
If the SBM is using SIP trunking only, then you do not need to communi-
cate the rest of the information, which applies to the Media Gateway
settings.
■ Transport protocol for the Media Gateway, either:
• TLS (recommended)
• TCP
This is the protocol that the gateway uses to listen for communications
from the Lync solution.
■ Local listening port for the Media Gateway only if it is not standard

gateway when adding the SBM as a survivable branch appliance. Figure A-
