SBM Operating Systems (OSs)
When the SBM is shipped, it includes the hardware along with:
The ONE Integrated Application for SBM
Called the ONE-app OS and installed on the Hard Disk (HD), this includes
both the SBM application and the OS that the application requires. When
you install your SBM for the first time, the module boots directly into the
ONE-app OS, where it should remain during both the initial setup and
normal operations. The SBM’s ONE Integrated Application does not
require HP licensing and activation.
The HP Service OS
The primary and backup Service OS reside on the Compact Flash (CF).
The SBM is not typically booted to this OS, but it is available for perform-
ing diagnostics in case troubleshooting is required.
Figure 1-2 shows where the Service OS and the ONE Integrated Application
reside on the module.
