HP Security Policy and Release Notes
Per HP policy, a Security Bulletin must be the first published notification of a security defect. Fixes to security defects are
not documented in release notes, also by HP policy.
The official communication for security defect fixes will always be through HP Security Bulletins. For more information on
security bulletins, and information on how to subscribe to them, please see:

Passwords and Minimum Password Length
By default, the local administrator and other users created by the local administrator have these password complexity
requirements. Complexity requirements are enforced when passwords are changed or created.
A password must not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters.
It must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
English uppercase characters (A through Z)
English lowercase characters (a through z)
Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
A password must be at least eight (8) characters in length and cannot match a previously used password.
Note These defaults can be overridden by a domain policy. Windows password complexity requirements may
be changed to conform to an established domain policy when connecting to a network.
Web User Interface Minimum Resolution Requirement
When using the Web User Interface, the client machine where the browser is running should support a 1024 x 768 minimum
resolution for proper formatting and display of the content. (PR_63300)
