Known Issues
Known Issues are listed in chronological order of the software version, oldest to newest.
Version 1.00.2.00
The following problems are known issues as of Version 1.00.2.00.
PR_55182 If internal Ethernet interface 2 on the SBM is disabled, it will be automatically re-enabled due to the
need of in-band HP proprietary communication between the switch chassis and the SBM. To prevent other
communication on this interface, rather than disabling it, the IP address can be removed as long as the primary IP
address is located on internal Ethernet interface 1.
PR_55199 In the Web Browser Setup Wizard, there is no ability to go back between setup wizard steps. This is
particularly evident for the steps “Configure IP Settings,” “Set Date & Time” and “Join Domain” steps.
PR_55206 When changing the IP address via the Web Browser Setup Wizard, clicking 'Apply' gives no user
feedback that change occurred even though the IP Address was changed and the user must change the IP address in
the URL to continue.
PR_56834 A Lync user configures their Lync client to forward all calls to PSTN2. Then, PSTN1 calls the Lynch
user. PSTN1 does not hear the normal ringback sound you would normally hear when you are waiting for someone
to answer.PSTN2 rings, is picked up, and the call proceeds normally after that.
PR_57535 SBM installation uses Lync Server's default audio RTP port ranges (49152-57500). If your deployment
restricts RTP ports (using firewalls, for example) and Lync Server is not using the default RTP port ranges (via the
Topology File), then HP recommends configuring the SIP-PSTN Gateway's RTP port ranges to match Lync Server's
port range by updating C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\SIP-PSTN Gateway\config\gw.properties and modifying
netborder.media.rtp.udpPortRange. Note that Lync Server uses a “First Port-Number of Ports” notation. The Gateway
uses a “First Port-Last Port” notation.
PR_59097 In the Command Line Interface, the 'help' parameter when used with commands does not print the
appropriate help text.
PR_60508 When logged into a Remote Desktop Session as a user other than SBMAdmin, Windows functions
should always be executed with “Run As Administrator” permissions to avoid issues.
PR_60933 In the event that a user fails to configure the media gateway service to automatically start on boot in
the Web Browser Setup Wizard, the user will need to either (a) re-run the quick setup wizard or (b) launch a remote
desktop session and configure the service to start automatically from Windows.
PR_61051 From a Web browser interface, the first time Advanced --> PSTN Configuration is selected, a blank
screen may be seen (rarely occurs). Closing the window and re-opening tends to solve the problem.
PR_61706 On the certificate page of the installation wizard, choose an option that requires a file import. If the
“Certificate Import” field is left blank and then “Import” is clicked, the error message “Please select file to upload”
repeated twice.
PR_62470 The first time that a Lync test call is attempted, it may fail with a 503 error. Trying the same call again
will result in a successful call.
To reproduce:
1. Install an SBM.
2.Go through the HP Install Wizard, stop at the “Lync test call” page
