CAUTION: First Time Power On

The Hard Disk Drive of the HP Survivable Branch Communication zl Module powered by Microsoft Lync™ (SBM) must be

initialized at first power on. This will take approximately 15 minutes. If the module is removed or if the switch chassis is

rebooted during this time, hard disk corruption will likely occur. Once this initialization is complete, it will not need to occur

again during normal operation.

Switch Software Requirements

K.15.XX Branch

K.15.03.0007 and later support the HP Survivable Branch Communication zl Module

K.14.XX Branch

K.14.60 and later support the HP Survivable Branch Communication zl Module

Note At the time of this writing, software versions K.14.XXm do not currently support the HP Survivable

Branch Communication zl Module. Check the release notes of a K.14.XXm version to determine if it

supports this product.

K.13.XX Branch

K.13.XX Branch does not support the HP Survivable Branch Communication zl Module.

Lync Updates

This software does not contain Microsoft Updates for Lync and these updates must be obtained from Microsoft. This software

has been tested in a Microsoft Lync environment without any updates, with CU#1, CU#2, and CU#3.
