Troubleshooting the TMS zl Module in Routing Mode
Ensure That IPS Is Enabled Globally
To check the global IPS setting, complete the following steps:
1. Click Intrusion Prevention > Settings.
2. Click Actions.
3. Ensure that the Enable Signatures and Protocol Anomaly detection option is
selected.

4. If necessary, click Apply My Changes.
You can also check the IPS setting from the CLI. Enter:
hostswitch(tms-module-C)# show ips
You will see output similar to the following. (The output of some commands
will use IPDS, which refers to the IPS.)
IPDS: Enabled
Last Signature Status: Error occurred during last update.
Could not resolve domain
Last Signature Download : None
