Initial Setup
Access the TMS zl Module Product OS Context
The Product OS context is used to configure the IDS and other features
provided by the TMS zl Module. There are two command options for entering
this context.
The advantage of the first option is that it requires fewer keystrokes. The
second option, on the other hand, does not require you to know the index
number for TMS zl Modules on your host switch. However, you should have
already obtained this information with the show services command.
Option 1. You can access the Product OS by typing the index number asso-
ciated with the TMS zl Module. Use the following command, entered from
either the switch’s manager-level or global configuration context.:
For example, when you entered the show services command, you saw this
output:
Table 3-5. CLI Display of Services Example
You noted that the slots for your TMS zl Modules are C and E and that their
index number is 2. You want to access the Product OS for the first TMS zl
Module, so you enter this command:
hostswitch# services c 2
If, instead, you saw the output shown in Table 3-6, you would enter this
command to access the Product OS for the TMS zl Module in slot C:
hostswitch# services c 3
Syntax: services <slot ID> <product index>
Moves you to an OS context on the module.
Replace <slot ID> with the letter for the chassis slot in which
the module is installed.
Replace <product index> with the index number that your
particular switch has assigned the TMS zl Module.
Slot Index Description Name
C, D, E 1. Services zl Module services-module
C, E 2. Threat Management Services zl Module tms-module
D 3. Data Center Connection Manager dcm
