2. Click Erase Startup-Config and Reboot to reboot the module with the factory-
default settings and the IDS/IPS signatures.
3. Click Yes in the warning that is displayed.
Erasing the Startup Configuration from the CLI Product OS. You can
erase the startup configuration from the Product OS context with the follow-
ing commands.
1. Access the Product OS context:
For example:
hostswitch# services c 2
2. Erase the startup configuration without deleting the IDS/IPS signatures:
Syntax: services <slot ID> 2
Enters the Product OS context on the module.
Replace <slot ID> with the letter for the chassis slot in which
the module is installed.
Syntax: erase startup-config
Deletes all settings but does not delete the IDS/IPS signatures.
The module will now reboot.
