Port Mapping
Mapping Ports
If you suspect that an attacker is more likely to attack a certain service, you
may want to send that traffic through a different port. You can often create a
port map for this alternate port so that the firewall can properly filter and
monitor that traffic. The TMS zl Module allows you to add more port maps
and delete the default mappings, but you cannot add more services to the port
maps list.
You can manage your port maps through the Web browser interface by
selecting Firewall > Settings and clicking the Port Maps tab or by selecting
Intrusion Prevention/Detection > Settings and clicking the Port Maps tab.
