Licensing
The TMS zl Module supports the following licenses:
■ HP ProCurve TMS Product License, which is included with the purchase
of the HP ProCurve Threat Management Services zl Module (J9155A)
■ Optional IDS/IPS signature subscription:
• HP ProCurve Threat Management Services 1-year IDS/IPS
Subscription (J9157A)
• HP ProCurve Threat Management Services 2-year IDS/IPS
Subscription (J9158A)
• HP ProCurve Threat Management Services 3-year IDS/IPS
Subscription (J9159A)
Instead of purchasing an IDS/IPS subscription separately, you can purchase a
1-year IDS/IPS subscription that is bundled with the TMS zl Module. The
product number for the HP Threat Management Services zl Module with a
1-year IDS/IPS subscription is J9156A.
For instructions on activating a TMS zl Module license and registering an IDS/
IPS signature subscription as part of the initial setup, refer to the sections
listed below.

The section you use depends on which operating mode you select, as
