Table 7-3 shows the format for each ID type.
Table 7-3. Local ID Values
9. For Remote ID, specify an ID that matches the ID that the remote gateway
sends to authenticate itself:
a. For Type , select the ID type:
– IP Address
– Domain Name
– Email Address
– Distinguished Name
b. For Value, type the correct value.
If you select the IP Address for Type, the IP address that you type in
the Value box must match the address in the Remote Gateway IP
Address (Peer ID) box (if configured).
10. Click Next.
