Virtual Private Networks
Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE)
Figure 7-85. Add GRE Tunnel Window
4. For Tunnel Name, type a name that is unique for this tunnel. The name can
be from 1 to 10 alphanumeric characters.
It is recommended that you use a name that indicates the destination of
the tunnel.
5. By default, the Enable this tunnel check box is selected, which allows the
GRE tunnel to be established as soon as you finish configuring it. Clear
the check box if you want to enable the tunnel later.
6. For Tunnel IP Address, type an IP address on a subnet that is reserved for
the tunnel.
This address will be the source address for tunneled packets. It is a virtual
address that is not already used on a TMS VLAN. The tunnel IP address
on the remote gateway should be a different virtual IP address on the same
subnet.
7. For Firewall Zone Association, select a zone for the tunnel interface.
This zone will be the source zone for traffic that arrives on the tunnel and
the destination zone for traffic that is sent across the tunnel.
8. For Local IP Address, type an actual IP address on the TMS zl Module.
Specify the IP address on the VLAN that the remote tunnel endpoint can
reach.
