This command allows you to configure all parts of high-availability, including:
Cluster scheme
Cluster information
•Cluster ID
Multicast address
Device information
•Device ID

Set the HA interface
To specify the HA interface VLAN, type the following command:
Syntax: high-availability vlan <VLAN ID>
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID number.
To set the HA interface IP address, type the following command:
Syntax: high-availability ip <IP address> <mask>
Replace <IP address> <mask> with the IP address and subnet mask you
want to assign to the module.
Option Result
active-standby Sets the cluster scheme to active-standby and configures
all additional parameters
multicast-ip Sets the multicast address for HA protocols
synchronize Propagates the cluster master’s startup-configuration to
the other cluster member
ip Sets the high-availability interface IP address
vlan Sets the high-availability interface vlan
