Global Configuration Context
Routing Mode
To configure the management zone, type the following command:
Syntax: management zone <zone>
Replace <zone> with the zone from which you want to manage the module.
The available zones are:
■ internal
■ external
■ dmz
■ zone1
■ zone2
■ zone3
■ zone4
■ zone5
■ zone6
To configure the priority VLAN, type the following command:
Syntax: management priority-vlan <vlan>
Replace <vlan> with the vlan for which you want to reserve traffic in the case
of a DoS attack.
Monitor Mode
To configure your management interface IP address and VLAN, enter the
following commands, respectively:
Syntax: management ip <IP address> <mask>
Replace <IP address> <mask> with the IP address and subnet mask you
want to assign to the module.
Syntax: management vlan <VLAN ID>]
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID number.
