To view the dns and route settings, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip [ dns | route | mroute ]
To view the IGMP and PIM configurations, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip [ igmp [config] | pim [rp-set] ]
show ip rip
The show ip rip command shows information about RIP on the network. You
can view:
■ Redistribution
■ RIP on a particular interface
■ (Optional) RIP peers
■ Restrictions
To view RIP redistribution, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip rip redistribute
To view RIP on a particular interface, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip rip interface [ <IP address> | vlan <VLAN ID> ]
Replace <IP address> with the interface IP address.
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID.
To view RIP peer information, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip rip peer [IP address]
Replace <IP address> with the IP address of the peer router.
To view restricted addresses, enter the following command:
Syntax: show ip rip restrict
show ip ospf
The show ip ospf command shows information about OSPF on the network.
You can view:
■ General information
■ Areas
■ Area link-states
