H
HA High Availability. The provision of nearly constant services or connectivity.
It is achieved through redundancy and hot failover.
HA cluster Two TMS zl Modules that are configured for HA.
HA control
protocol
A Layer 2 protocol to manage data flow, such as number of sessions per
module, between the master and the participant in an HA cluster.
HA data protocol A Layer 2 protocol to send data from the cluster master to the participant. All
data from the master to the participant is encapsulated through the HA data
protocol. The master sends data to the MAC address of the participant.
HA port In routing mode, physical port 2 (J2 on the circuit board), which plugs into the
host switch backplane. This port is an untagged member of the HA VLAN.
hardware ID A unique identification number that is used to obtain a license key.
hash algorithm On the TMS zl Module, the hash algorithm is called the authentication algorithm.
hello interval The amount of time that determines how often an OSPF router advertises its
routes.
