Basic Troubleshooting Tools
If you send the capture to a file, rather than the terminal, you can copy the file
to a TFTP, SCP, or FTP server and then use a protocol analyzer to open the
file and view the output, as shown in the next section.
Protocol Analyzer
For complex issues, you may want to download or purchase a protocol
analyzer, which you can use to:
■ View a file that contains the output from the TMS zl Module’s capture
command
■ Capture all the packets that pass through a network device’s interface
As mentioned in the previous section, you can use the TMS zl Module’s capture
command to send output to a file and open this file in a protocol analyzer, as
shown in Figure D-4.
