Updating Cluster Software
5. Save the current configuration and reboot the module.
When asked if you would like to reboot the module and if you want to save
the current configuration, type
[y].
For example:
hostswitch(services-module-C:PR)# boot service
Device will be rebooted, do you want to continue
[y/n]? y
Do you want to save the current configuration
[y/n]? y

Update the Master’s Software
In this section, you will update the software on the master. All steps should
be performed on the master’s Web browser interface.
1. Click System > Maintenance > Update Software tab.
2. Follow the instructions in “Update Software with the Web Browser Inter-
face” in Chapter 2: “Initial Setup in Routing Mode“ to download and install
the new software image.
3. Click the Reboot tab.
4. Click Reboot.
5. Click Save & reboot in the prompt.
6. Click No in the prompt that asks if you want to synchronize with the other
cluster members.
Update the Participant’s Software
In this section, you will update the software on the participant. Perform these
steps on the participant.
Both because this module was the cluster participant and because you
removed the module from a cluster, it does not have any IP addresses.
Therefore, you must assign the module an IP address in the management-
access zone before you can access the Web browser interface.
