Product OS Operator Context Commands
The product index number is assigned to the TMS zl Module by the switch.
This product index number varies, depending on whether or not any HP
ProCurve ONE Services zl Modules are also installed in the host switch. The
ONE Services zl Module is a hardware platform that supports multiple prod-
ucts—such as the HP ProCurve Data Center Connection Manager (DCM).
(DCM provisions the network with the settings required for servers in a data
center environment. For a list of other products that run on the ONE Services
zl Module, visit the HP ProCurve Web site at www.hp.com/go/procurve.)
If there are no ONE Services zl Modules installed in the switch, the host switch
assigns the TMS zl Module the index number 2.
If one or more ONE Services zl Modules are also installed in the switch, the
host switch assigns the TMS zl Module and each ONE Services zl product a
different index number, based on the order in which each one boots. For
example, if you install the TMS zl Module and boot it first, the host switch
assigns it the index number 2.
However, if you install a ONE Services zl Module first and boot it, the host
switch will assign the product running on that module the index number 2. If
the TMS zl Module is installed next and booted, the host switch will assign it
the index number 3.
To view the product index numbers, product names, and their associated
chassis slots, enter the following command from the host switch’s CLI:
hostswitch> show services
Table A-6 shows an example output for this command. In this example, the
host switch has assigned the TMS zl Module the index number 2.

To access the operator context for the Product OS on the TMS zl Module
installed in slot E, you would one of the following commands:
hostswitch> services e 2
hostswitch> services e name tms-module
