This command is also available from the global configuration context.
configure
The command moves you to the Product OS CLI’s global configuration con-
text.
Syntax: configure [terminal]
copy
The copy commands are used to move various file types to and from the TMS
zl Module. The copy command supports FTP, SCP, and TFTP transfer proto-
cols.
To save a copy of your event-log, startup-config, or most recent snapshot or
pcap file to an external TFTP, FTP, or SCP server using, enter one of the
following commands:
Syntax: copy < event-log | startup-config | snapshot | pcap > tftp <destination server
location> <destination filename>
Syntax: copy < event-log | startup-config | snapshot | pcap > < ftp | scp > <destination
server location> <destination filename> user <username>
Replace <destination server location> with the IP address of your TFTP server.
Replace <destination filename> w ith th e name that you want to assig n t o the fi le.
Replace <username> with the username on the account on your FTP or SCP
server.
Note Before saving the startup configuration to an remote host, be sure to save the
current running configuration with the write memory command.
For example, to back up the currently saved system configuration to a remote
host, enter the following command:
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>)# copy startup-config tftp
