Global Configuration Context
connection-settings
The connection-settings command allows you to set various restrictions on
connections to your network:
■ Absolute number of connections limits
■ Timeout limits
■ Resource allocation limits
Table A-17 gives the available options for the connection-settings command.

connection-settings limit
This command sets the absolute maximum number for connections that a
specified zone is allowed.
Syntax: connection-settings limit <zone> <connections>
Replace <zone> with the zone for which you are setting a connection limit. The
available zones and their default connection-settings limits are shown in
Table A-18. If you have changed the name of one of these zones, you will type
your user-defined name instead.
Replace <connections> with the absolute maximum number of connections
allowed for the zone.
