Global Configuration Context
gre
With this command you can configure GRE tunnels. You can:
Create a GRE tunnel (page A-69)
Configure dynamic routing for a GRE tunnel (page A-66)
Enable keepalives on a GRE tunnel (page A-69)
Disable a GRE tunnel (page A-66)
Re-enable a GRE tunnel (page A-66)
Delete a GRE tunnel (page A-66)
no gre <tunnel name>
Enter the following command to delete a GRE tunnel:
Syntax: no gre <tunnel name>
Replace <tunnel name> with the character string that was configured for
this tunnel.
gre <tunnel name> disable
Enter the following command to disable a GRE tunnel:
Syntax: gre <tunnel name> disable
Replace <tunnel name> with the character string that was configured for
this tunnel.
gre <tunnel name> enable
Tunnels are enabled by default, but if a tunnel is disabled, you can enable it
by entering the following command:
Syntax: gre <tunnel name> enable
Replace <tunnel name> with the character string that was configured for
this tunnel.
gre <tunnel name> ip
These commands configure dynamic routing for a GRE tunnel, enabling the
TMS zl Module to exchange RIP and OSPF messages on a GRE tunnel
interface.
