Global Configuration Context
l2tp local-user
To create or edit (or delete) a local L2TP user account and enter the L2TP User
context, enter the following command:
Syntax: [no] l2tp local-user <username>
Replace <username> with the name for this user (1 to 16 alphanumeric
characters).
After entering this command, you will be moved to the CLI’s L2TP User
context. See “L2TP User Context” on page A-159.
lldp
This command enables (or disables) Layer Link Discovery Protocol.
Syntax: [no] lldp
logging
The logging command allows you to set the severity level for logging; the
module logs messages for events of the selected severity level or higher. It also
allows you to configure the threshold for the suppression of duplicate log
messages and to set up log forwarding using the following methods:
SNMP traps
Syslog messages
Email messages
logging email
To configure email forwarding, use the commands listed below.
To enable (or disable) email forwarding, enter the following command:
Syntax: [no] logging email enable
Set the email server and account information for email log forwarding:
Syntax: logging email server <hostname or IP address> from-address <from email
address> [user <username> password <password>]
Replace <hostname or IP address> with the hostname or IP address of the
email server.
