Global Configuration Context
Replace <from email address> with an email address, which will be used
as the source of the emails containing logs. The email address does not need
to be a real address, but it must be in valid email address format.
Enter the user option to configure an account used access the email server.
Replace <username> with the username of the account. Replace <pass-
word> with the password for the account.
To set the email account to which logs will be forwarded (up to 3), enter the
following command:
Syntax: [no] logging email to-address <to email address>
Replace <to email address> with the email address to which the module
will forward logs.
You can enter this command up to three times, one for each account. After
you specify three email accounts, if you try to enter the command again, you
receive an error message. You must delete one of the accounts (using the no
option) before you can add another account.
For example, enter these commands to set up log forwarding:
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>:config)# logging email
enable
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>:config)# logging email
server 10.1.1.34 from-address tms@procurve.com user
manager password procurve

logging snmpv2
SNMP traps are unsolicited messages that are sent by managed devices to alert
you about specific events.
To configure SNMPv2 traps, type the following commands:
Syntax: [no] logging snmpv2 enable
This command enables SNMPv2 forwarding.
Syntax: logging snmpv2 <IP address> <community>
This command specifies the SNMPv2 community to which you are forwarding
logs.
