Command-Line Reference
Global Configuration Context
After log throttling is enabled, you can configure the count and seconds
parameters. Enter the following command:
Syntax: logging threshold duplicates <count> time <seconds>
Replace <count> with the number of duplicate events that you want to occur
before the module logs a tally message (1–2147483647). The default number
is 500.
Replace <seconds> with the number of seconds that you want to pass before
the module logs a tally message with the number of duplicate events (150–
2147483647). The default is 600 seconds.
For example, if you want the module to log a tally message that tells you how
many duplicate events have occurred after either 100 of those events occur or
after 5 minutes have passed since the first event was logged, you would enter
the following command:
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>)# logging threshold
duplicates 100 time 300
logout
Exit the current CLI session and return to the login screen.
Syntax: logout
management
The management command configures different management settings
depending on the TMS zl Modules operating mode.
Routing Mode
In routing mode, this command configures your management-access zone and
priority VLAN.
management priority-vlan. To configure the priority VLAN, type the fol-
lowing command:
Syntax: management priority-vlan <vlan ID>
Replace <vlan ID> with the ID for the VLAN for which you want to prioritize
traffic. (This allows managers to access the module even when the network
is highly congested or perhaps even in the case of a DoS attack.)
