GRE Examples
4. Permit GRE messages from the remote gateway.
a. For Action, accept the default, Permit Traffic.
b. For From, select EXTERNAL.
c. For To, select SELF.
d. For Service, click Options and click Enter custom Protocol/Port. Then
select (47) GRE for Protocol.
e. For Source, specify the remote module’s actual IP address:
192.168.33.22.
f. For Destination, specify the local IP address that acts as the tunnel
gateway: 172.23.99.99.

i. Click Apply.
5. Permit OSPF messages to the remote gateway.
a. For Action, accept the default, Permit Traffic.
b. For From, select SELF.
c. For To, select ZONE4.
d. For Service, specify (89) OSPFIGP (a custom protocol).
e. For Source, specify the module’s IP address on the tunnel interface:
