Troubleshooting the TMS zl Module in Routing Mode
Check the network infrastructure.
If all the settings on the TMS zl Module seem to be correct, you should
check the network to ensure that traffic from the workstation can reach
the TMS zl Module.
To check connectivity, you can ping the module from the management
workstation. If the workstation is in a management-access zone, an access
policy has been created to allow ICMP echo packets (provided no one has
deleted it or entered another access policy to limit the use of ping in the
management-access zone). If the workstation is not in a management-access
zone, you will need to add an access policy to allow ICMP echo packets.
You should also ensure that any routers between your management work-
station and the TMS zl Module are configured correctly to both allow the
traffic and route it.
Resolving Specific Issues Related to Accessing the Web
Browser Interface
Sometimes you may receive a specific error message when trying to access
the TMS zl Module’s Web browser interface. This section lists common error
messages and possible solutions.
You receive a Login Timed Out! error message.
If you receive a Login Timed Out! error message, you should start by
ruling out the obvious causes of the problem. You may want to quickly
make sure that one of the following has not occurred:
Too much time has elapsed since you last accessed the interface.
Someone else has rebooted the module.
If these are not causing the problem, ensure that your Web browser is
accepting cookies from the module.
If you are using Firefox, complete the following steps:
a. Click Tools > Options > Privacy.
b. Under Cookies, click Exceptions.
c. Type the modules IP address and click Allow.
d. Click Close and OK to close both windows.
