Command-Line Reference
Overview
Braces ( < > ) enclose required elements.
Vertical bars or braces within square brackets ( [ < > ] ) indicate a required
element within an optional choice.
Vertical bars or braces within braces ( < < > > ) indicate a required element
within a required choice.
All italics indicate variables for which you must supply a value when execut-
ing the command. For example, in the command above, you must provide the
destination server location and the destination filename.
CLI Help
Like the CLI for HP switches, the TMS zl Module CLI provides help that
displays command syntax, including explanations of commands and com-
mand options.
List Available Commands
The CLI help provides several ways to display the options available in a
particular context.:
■ help
■ ?
■ Tab key
For example, to view the commands available at the TMS zl Module manager
context, you could type one of the following:
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>)# help
or
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>)# ?
or
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>)#
[tab]
A list of commands available in the manager context would be displayed.
