Global Configuration Context
Replace <vlan ID> with the ID for the VLAN for which you want to prioritize
traffic. (This allows managers to access the module even when the network
is highly congested or perhaps even in the case of a DoS attack.)
management zone. To add a zone to the set of management zones, type the
following command:
Syntax: management zone <zone>
Replace <zone> with the zone from which you want to manage the module.
The available zones are:
■ internal
■ external
■ dmz
■ zone1
■ zone2
■ zone3
■ zone4
■ zone5
■ zone6
■ <user-named zone>
Monitor Mode
In monitor mode, this command configures your dedicated management
interface VLAN and IP address.
management ip. To configure your management interface IP address, enter
the following command:
Syntax: management ip <IP address> <mask>
Replace <IP address> <mask> with the IP address and subnet mask you want
to assign to the module.
